A new year is on its way

So, how was your Christmas and how was the music? At Ely Cathedral we enjoyed the company of, literally, thousands of people across our Christmas events and services and, for each, we tried to ensure we had music of the highest standard offered in God's praise. 

Whether a large or small church, we owe it to God to give him of our best. As I look ahead to 2012, I know that my top priority will be training musicians to minister in their churches and supporting them (and those with whom they minister) too. 

A new music training programme will be launched in April (to come into effect in September) but, meanwhile there are already quite a few events taking place. Keep an eye on the local RSCM website here , Ely Rag and this blog for details of "What's on".
