Lenten Music Pilgrimage No 3

Another warm welcome for the Lenten Music Pilgrimage at All Saints Church, St Ives last night. We shared supper together in the church hall before moving across to the church for a time of discussion, singing and worship. My thanks to Fr Mark Amey for making us so welcome and to all those who came along and worked so willingly. The new organ is sounding impressive (although it's still not "voiced" properly yet). Worth a visit sometime maybe?

Compline - Ely Cathedral

Compline is sung every Tuesday in Lent (and Advent) in Ely Cathedral at 9.00 pm. It's a beautiful, candlelit service and anyone is welcome to attend. A very peaceful, spiritual experience in the penitential seasons.

Pentecost Praise

It's time to be thinking about Pentecost Praise again to be held in Ely Cathedral on Sunday, 27 May at 7.30 pm. Both Bishops will be there and the service (using contemporary music) will include Baptism and Confirmation. Music will be led by The Bishop's Band. This service has begun to gain quite a following since it started three years ago. If you like to worship in a more modern style, do consider joining us that night.
