The Archdeaconry of Cambridge Church Music Society has announced its next ‘Come and Sing’ Evensong. This will be held at St John the Evangelist, Hills Road, Cambridge, on Saturday 12 November. Philip Asher will conduct with organist Edward Lilley. The Archdeacon of Cambridge will lead the service.
Singers are invited to arrive at 2.30 pm for a 2.45 rehearsal. There will be a 45-minute tea-break during which the AGM will take place, and Evensong will commence at 5.00 pm. Invitations to choirs will be sent out shortly. Contact me if you require any further information now.
